We believe in privacy by design. Our core principle is simple: Your usage data belongs to you and stays on your device.

1. Information We Collect

A. Personal Usage Data (Local Only)

The core functionality of AppDose relies on tracking your screen time and app usage. This data is:

Stored 100% locally on your device.
Never uploaded to our servers or any cloud storage.
Never sold or shared with third parties.

B. Non-Personal Data (Analytics & Crash Reporting)

To improve app stability and understand how the app is used, we use third-party services that may collect anonymous, non-personal data:

Google Analytics for Firebase: We track basic interactions (e.g., “App Opened,” “Settings Changed”) to understand which features are popular. This does not include your specific screen time logs or app activity details.
Firebase Crashlytics: If the app crashes, this service collects crash logs and device state information (e.g., device model, OS version) to help us fix bugs.

2. Permissions We Request

To function correctly, AppDose requires specific Android permissions. We use these strictly for the app’s core functionality:

Usage Access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS): Required to detect which app is currently running so we can display the timer.
Display Over Other Apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): Required to show the floating timer overlay on top of other apps.
Notifications: Required by Android to keep the tracking service running reliably in the background without being killed by the system.

3. Payments

AppDose offers a Premium version via in-app purchases.

All financial transactions are handled exclusively by Google Play.
We do not process, store, or have access to your credit card information or billing details.

4. Children’s Privacy

AppDose is a general audience application. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete this from our analytics servers.

By downloading or using AppDose, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Usage License

AppDose is licensed to you, not sold. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.

2. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that the screen time tracking will be 100% accurate on every device due to variations in Android OS battery optimizations and background restrictions.

3. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Tech Basket shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the app, including but not limited to damages for loss of data.

4. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uttar Pradesh, India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
