We respect your journey and your privacy. Our philosophy is straightforward: Your life goals, financial targets, and calendar data are yours alone.

1. Information We Collect

A. Personal Data (Local Only)

TimeLeft allows you to input personal data to visualize your progress, including:

Life Expectancy & Birth Date: Used to generate the “Life Calendar” grid.
Financial Data (FIRE Tracker): Used to calculate financial independence progress.
Goals & Deadlines: Used for countdown timers.

Important: All of this data is stored 100% locally on your device. We do not transmit, sync, or backup this data to any cloud server.

B. Non-Personal Data (Analytics & Crash Reporting)

To ensure the app runs smoothly and to understand general usage patterns, we use third-party services that collect anonymous data:

Google Analytics for Firebase: Collects anonymous usage metrics (e.g., “Wallpaper Applied,” “Screen Viewed”). This helps us understand which visualization styles are most popular.
Firebase Crashlytics: Collects crash reports and device state information (e.g., OS version, device model) to help us identify and fix bugs.

2. Permissions We Request

TimeLeft requires specific permissions to function as a Live Wallpaper and utility tool:

Set Wallpaper (SET_WALLPAPER): Required to apply the visualization grids to your home or lock screen.
Wake Lock: Briefly used to ensure the live wallpaper updates correctly at midnight or when settings change.
Internet Access: Used strictly for anonymous analytics and crash reporting. Your personal inputs (financial data, dates) are never sent over this connection.

3. Payments

TimeLeft offers optional Premium features (e.g., advanced color palettes, additional grid shapes).

All purchases are processed securely via Google Play In-App Billing.
We do not store or process your payment details.

4. Children’s Privacy

TimeLeft is a general audience application. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since all user input remains on the device, we possess no mechanism to view or store data from any user, regardless of age.

1. Usage License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use TimeLeft for your own personal development and productivity. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the app’s code or assets.

2. Financial Disclaimer

The FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) Tracker and other calculation tools are for informational and visualization purposes only. They do not constitute professional financial advice. We are not responsible for any financial decisions made based on the visualizations provided by the app.

3. Wallpaper Performance

TimeLeft is designed to be battery-efficient. However, using any Live Wallpaper can impact battery life differently depending on your specific device hardware and screen technology (e.g., AMOLED vs. LCD). We provide the software “AS IS” and are not liable for battery performance issues.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Tech Basket shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data or emotional distress arising from the visualization of time.

5. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uttar Pradesh, India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
