Privacy policy and terms of use for the Domain Bookmark browser extension
What we collect
Nothing leaves your device by default. All bookmarks, notes, labels, and trash data are stored entirely in browser.storage.local: local to your browser, never synced to our servers.

Anonymous analytics
We use Aptabase to collect anonymous usage events (e.g. “popup opened”, “bookmark added”). No personal information is attached: no IP address, no browsing history, no identifiers. Events contain only aggregate counts and feature names. You can review Aptabase’s privacy policy at aptabase.com.
Pro license
When you purchase Pro, Dodo Payments collects your name and email address to process the transaction and deliver your license key. The extension itself never sees your email. When you activate your license key in the extension, we send the key and your browser/platform name (e.g. “Chrome, Win32”) to Dodo’s API solely to register the device. This data is used only for license validation.
Your license key and activation timestamp are stored locally in browser.storage.local. License validity is re-checked periodically; if you are offline, the last valid state is honoured for up to 7 days.

We do not sell, share, or rent any data to any other third parties.
Terms of Use
- License: Bookmark Helper is provided for personal and commercial use. The Pro license may be activated on up to 3 devices per purchase.
- No warranty: The extension is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for loss of bookmarks or data arising from use of the extension.
- Bookmark data: The extension reads and modifies your browser bookmarks only in response to your explicit actions. It does not access bookmarks on any remote server.
- Acceptable use: You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or resell the extension or its Pro license.
- Updates: We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the extension constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
