Jason Duval serves as one playable protagonist, framed by Rockstar as a man trapped by escalating criminal troubles. In the 26-minute Extended Look shown on August 27, 2026, Jason navigates getaways alongside Lucia and handles boat operations across Vice City. His work under regional smuggler Brian Heder anchors him to the southern coast, providing key contacts for their early scores.

Lucia Caminos

Background

Lucia Caminos serves as the other central protagonist, and is widely reported as Rockstar's first fully voiced female lead and the first female main character in a mainline entry since the series' early years (BusinessToday, August 28, 2026). Her official profile notes that she was born in Liberty City and taught how to fight almost as soon as she could walk.

Lucia enters the narrative following her release from Leonida Penitentiary, determined to build a better life with Jason. In 2026, an IMDb cast page for the Extended Look listed him, and accounts such as Complex Pop and GTA 6 Media on X shared it as confirmed. IMDb pages can be edited by users, so that listing is not proof.

Manni L. Perez as Lucia: this rests on the same kind of fan analysis (voice match, social media activity) since 2025, per two reports. No named insider has claimed it.

None of these sources shows a Rockstar credit, a contract, an end-credits screenshot or a statement. There is no verifiable graphic behind either claim, so this post treats both as unverified rumors and does not show any image as evidence.
