Who qualifies: anyone 13 or older enrolled in a degree- or diploma-granting program, including high school and homeschool. Verification: apply in your GitHub settings. GitHub may require an academic email if others from your school verified with one. Otherwise, upload a dated school ID, class schedule, transcript or enrollment letter. After graduating: the pack is tied to your student status, so benefits end. Each partner offer has its own end date.

Since March 12, 2026, free Copilot for students runs on a separate Copilot Student plan. It includes unlimited code completions and an allowance of GitHub AI Credits for chat and agent use. Model choice is automatic, so you cannot pick premium models such as Claude Opus or GPT-5.4 yourself.

Who qualifies: verified GitHub Education students. Verification: activate it from your Education benefits page after your GitHub Education application is approved. Activation can take a few days. Every JetBrains IDE and .NET tool for free, including IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate, PyCharm, WebStorm, Rider and ReSharper. The licence is for learning only, not commercial work.

Who qualifies: students in a full-time educational program of one year or more. Verification: a school email, your GitHub Student Developer Pack, an ISIC or ITIC card, or official proof of enrollment. Renew once a year. After graduating: JetBrains offers a 40% graduation discount on a personal subscription to any single IDE or the All Products Pack. It stays valid for two years after your student licence expires.

$100 of Azure credit to use within 12 months, free monthly amounts of 20+ popular services for the first year, and 65+ always-free services. No credit card is needed to sign up.

Who qualifies: full-time university students. The GitHub Pack listing says 18 and older. One account per person. Verification: sign up with your school email. After graduating: you can renew every year while you are a student. Once you are not, the student subscription stops renewing.

The latest Unity Pro editor, a free Odin Inspector and Validator education licence, a premium Synty asset bundle, and version control with 3 seats and 5GB of storage. Unity's terms allow you to commercialize projects made on the plan.

Who qualifies: students 16 and older at an accredited secondary school (grades 8 to 12) or degree-granting institution. Verification: SheerID, usually instant. After graduating: the plan lasts one year and renews only while you are enrolled. Projects made on it open only on your student account.

Free access to Figma's professional tools: Figma Design, FigJam for brainstorming, and Dev Mode for seeing how designs turn into code. You set up an education team to unlock the paid features.

Who qualifies: current students and educators, K-12 and higher education. You must be old enough to consent on your own. Figma for Education is only available in some regions. Verification: higher education students use a school email plus a SheerID form. K-12 students apply with a school email. Status lasts one year for students, then you reapply. After graduating: team members become view-only on education teams. Owners with more than three files have their teams locked until they upgrade or cut down to three files.

A free Basic plan (Framer puts its value at $120) for your portfolio or personal site, with hosting, the design canvas, CMS and 1,000 AI credits a month.

Who qualifies: students in a certified in-person or online program, such as high school, college or university. Verification: apply on Framer's education page. Framer reviews applications within five working days. After graduating: the discount lasts a year, and you can reapply every 11 months only while you are a student.

Not free, but the biggest discount on this list: Creative Cloud Pro with 20+ apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Acrobat Pro and more) and 4,000 monthly generative credits for $19.99 a month for the first year on an annual plan. From year two the student price is $39.99 a month, against $69.99 for everyone else.

Who qualifies: students 13 and older at accredited schools, K-12 through university. Someone 18 or older must buy it. Verification: a school-issued email or documents such as a student ID, class schedule or transcript. After graduating: the student rate continues only while you stay eligible, then moves to the standard price.

One year of free access to Autodesk's professional software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Fusion, Maya and Inventor. Use is limited to learning, teaching and research. No commercial work.

Who qualifies: students and educators at qualified educational institutions worldwide, except in countries under US trade embargo. Verification: SheerID. You upload proof of enrollment within 14 days, and confirmation can take a couple of days. After graduating: access is renewed yearly only while you are eligible, so it ends at your next renewal.

The Plus plan for free: unlimited pages, blocks and file uploads, 30-day version history, and site publishing. Notion AI is not included in the education plan, but the GitHub Pack version adds extra AI responses.

Who qualifies: students and educators at accredited colleges and universities listed in the World Higher Education Database. K-12 students and personal emails do not qualify. Verification: your school email must be your account's primary email. Go to Settings, then Upgrade plan, then Get free education plan. You re-verify once a year. After graduating: when your school email stops working, the workspace moves to the Free plan. Your content stays.

Office 365 A1 is free for students with an eligible school email. It includes web versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote. Many universities also license the full desktop apps for students, so check your school's IT page first.

Who qualifies: students with an eligible education email address. Verification: usually automatic from your school email, though some schools can take up to a month. After graduating: the apps drop into reduced-functionality (view-only) mode and services tied to your school email stop.

The most generous AI offer for students. US college students get a free year of Google AI Pro, with higher Gemini limits and 5 TB of storage. Students in 140+ other countries get a free year of Google AI Plus, with 2x Gemini limits, 400 GB of storage and Gemini Omni video generation.

Who qualifies: college students aged 18 and older in supported countries. Redeem by December 31, 2026. Verification: verify your enrollment on the offer page, and again each year to keep access. A payment method is required at sign-up. After graduating: after the free year, the plan renews at the regular monthly price unless you cancel.

OpenAI's 2026 Back to School offer gives four free months of ChatGPT Plus (a $80 value). Existing Plus subscribers can claim it too, as long as they are billed directly by ChatGPT, not through the App Store or Google Play.

Who qualifies: full-time and part-time college and graduate students at eligible US degree-granting institutions. Claim by October 31, 2026. Verification: SheerID, while signed in to the ChatGPT account you want the months applied to. After graduating: this is a one-time promotion. After the four months, Plus renews at $20 a month unless you cancel.

Education Pro is Perplexity Pro at a student discount. It includes unlimited Pro Searches, file uploads, premium models and Learn Mode, plus study tips built in. The free student months from last year's campaigns have ended.

Who qualifies: verified students and educators. Verification: SheerID with your school details. After graduating: the education discount ends and you move to the regular Pro price or the free plan.

Premium at a student price of $6.99 a month after one free month (the trial is only for people who have not tried Premium before). In the US it includes the Hulu (With Ads) plan and 15 hours a month of audiobook listening.

Who qualifies: students at an eligible accredited higher education institution. Verification: SheerID. You may log in to your college portal or upload proof of enrollment. After graduating: you re-verify every 12 months, for a maximum of four years. After that, you pay the regular Premium price.

Ad-free YouTube, background play, downloads and YouTube Music, for $8.99 a month in the US after the April 2026 price rise. A cheaper YouTube Music Premium student plan also exists. Student plans are offered in 100+ countries.

Who qualifies: students actively enrolled at a higher education institution that SheerID supports. Verification: SheerID, repeated every year. After graduating: you can keep the student plan for up to four consecutive years. After that, or if you miss re-verification, it moves to the regular price.

Amazon's old Prime Student is now Prime for Young Adults. You get a six-month $0 trial with full Prime benefits, then Prime at $7.49 a month or $69 a year, about half the normal price, plus young-adult deals.

Who qualifies: anyone aged 18 to 24, or a higher-education student of any age. Verification: age, or student status for those 25 and older. After graduating: if you joined through student verification, the membership converts to regular Prime after four years or when your studies end.

Apple Music for $6.99 a month in the US after the July 2026 price rise, with Apple TV included at no extra cost.

Who qualifies: students at degree-granting universities and colleges. Verification: UNiDAYS. After graduating: the plan moves to the regular individual price once you can no longer verify.

Apple's education store sells Mac and iPad for less all year. The US Back to School promotion, which added an Apple Gift Card of up to $150 with a qualifying Mac or iPad, ended on September 24, 2026. In the UK and Europe it runs until October 22, 2026.

Who qualifies: current and newly accepted college students and their parents, plus faculty, staff and homeschool teachers of all grade levels. Verification: Apple uses UNiDAYS for some offers and may ask for proof at purchase. After graduating: you pay regular prices on future purchases. Anything you already bought is yours.
