EA Play Games Leaving and Recently Removed [July 2026]

Updated: This article was last updated on July 2, 2026.

EA publishes the full schedule of EA Play catalog changes on its service updates page. The tables below track every game currently scheduled for removal and every title that left the catalog in the last 60 days, across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.

EA removes games on a rolling basis throughout the year with no fixed cadence. The “Date of Removal” listed is the day a game becomes unavailable to EA Play subscribers. After that date, you will need to purchase the game separately to continue playing.

Games scheduled to leave farther in the future appear first so you can plan ahead.

How to Prepare for an EA Play Removal

Once a game appears on the leaving list, you have a few options:

  • Finish it before it leaves. Most single-player games can be completed in a weekend or two. Check HowLongToBeat if you are unsure about the time commitment.
  • Buy it at a discount. EA Play subscribers get a permanent 10% discount on all EA digital purchases through the EA app, Xbox Store, and PlayStation Store. A game that costs $59.99 drops to $53.99, and that discount stacks on top of any ongoing sales.
  • Wait for it to return. Some games cycle back into the catalog months later. There is no guarantee, but EA has re-added previously removed titles in the past.
  • Keep your save data. EA retains your progress even after a game leaves. If you buy it later or it returns to the catalog, you pick up exactly where you left off.
