Cyber Monday 2026 is on Monday, November 30. Black Friday is mostly about gadgets. Cyber Monday is where software and subscriptions get their best prices: VPNs, web hosting, password managers, creative apps and online courses.
These are also the deals most likely to trip you up. A VPN at $2 a month sounds great until you notice it is billed as two years upfront and renews at three times the price. This page lists what each service offered last Cyber Monday, what to check before you pay, and which ones never discount at all. From November 20 we add the live 2026 deals.
Last updated: September 26, 2026. No 2026 Cyber Monday software deals have been announced yet. Prices below are from Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2025, and are shown so you can judge 2026 offers against them.
- Cyber Monday is November 30, 2026. Most software deals start the week before and many run to early December.
- VPNs had their lowest prices of the year in 2025: around $2 to $3 a month on two-year plans from NordVPN, Surfshark, ExpressVPN and Proton VPN.
- Hosting deals are intro prices only. Always check the renewal price.
- 1Password was half price in 2025 ($24 for the first year). Adobe Creative Cloud Pro was 50% off for the first year.
- Mullvad VPN, Spotify and YouTube Premium do not discount for Cyber Monday. Free trials are their only offer.
Before you buy any Cyber Monday subscription
- Look at the total, not the monthly price. "$2.99 a month" on a two-year plan means paying around $70 upfront.
- Check the renewal price. Most VPN and hosting deals renew at the regular price after the first term, often three to five times higher.
- Turn off auto-renew right after you buy, or set a calendar reminder a week before renewal. You can turn it back on later.
- Check the refund window. Most big VPNs offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, which makes a long plan less risky.
- New customers only. Most offers do not apply if you already have an account. Some services let you buy the deal and stack it on top of your current plan, so check before you cancel anything.

Mullvad is the odd one out: it charges everyone the same monthly price, needs no email to sign up, and does not do sales. Bitwarden's free plan already covers unlimited passwords on unlimited devices, so for most people the free version is enough. The paid plan adds security reports, file attachments and built-in two-factor codes.
Creative, office and productivity apps
- Adobe Creative Cloud Pro: $34.97 a month for the first year in 2025, half the normal $69.99. Students got around 70% off. It ran until December 7. After the first year it renews at the full price.
- Microsoft 365: Microsoft rarely discounts directly. The deals are usually from Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart, which sell a year of Personal or Family as a code for less than Microsoft's price.
- Setapp: runs promotions around Black Friday. We could not confirm a 2025 discount, so check its site closer to the date.

Streaming and music
Music and video streaming services mostly skip Cyber Monday.
- Spotify did not cut its price in 2025. Its usual offer for new users is a few months of Premium free.
- YouTube Premium had no Black Friday deal in 2025.
- Deals do show up on video streaming add-ons and bundles through Amazon Prime Video Channels and similar, often at a few dollars a month for the first months.
