Dandy's World is a Roblox horror game by BlushCrunch Studio. You play as a Toon, one of the game's cartoon mascots, and work with other players to finish Machines on each floor while monsters called Twisteds hunt you. Each Toon has its own stats and at least one ability, so picking the right character makes a big difference.
This guide lists every playable Toon, what its ability does, what it costs to unlock and what you have to do first. The data matches the game's version 0.28.4 and the community wiki's Toon stats list, checked on October 2, 2026. Need more Ichor to unlock them faster? Check our Dandy's World codes.

How Toons and their stats work
Every Toon is rated on six stats, from 1 to 5 stars:
- Hearts: how many hits you can take. Most Toons have 3, Main Characters have 2.
- Skill Check: how big the skill-check zone is when you work on a Machine. A bigger zone means fewer mistakes.
- Movement Speed: how fast you walk and run.
- Stamina: how long you can sprint.
- Stealth: how quietly you move. Low stealth makes Twisteds notice you sooner.
- Extraction Speed: how fast you finish Machines.
Abilities are either Active (you press a button, then wait for a cooldown) or Passive (always on). Toons are bought in Dandy's Store with Ichor, the main currency you earn by playing runs. Most also need you to finish one or more requirements first:
- Research: a percentage you gain by meeting that Toon's Twisted on a floor or by opening Research Capsules. Every Toon has a Twisted version.
- Mastery Quests: a set of challenges for one Toon. Some unlocks need you to finish all of another Toon's quests.
- Milestones: things like finishing a number of Machines, surviving a number of floors or owning a number of Toons.
Starter Toons
When you first join, you choose Boxten or Poppy for free. The one you skip goes into the store for 250 Ichor.
- Boxten has 3 stars in everything and a passive called Wind-up: he extracts 6% faster for each living Toon in the run, up to 48%. Great in full lobbies.
- Poppy also has flat 3-star stats. Her passive, Panic Pop, gives a 50% speed boost for 3 seconds when she gets hit, which helps you escape.
Pick Boxten if you mainly play public lobbies, and Poppy if you want an easier time running away.

Main Characters
The five Main Characters are the late-game goal. They each have an active and a passive ability, but only two hearts, so one mistake costs more.
- Astro is the best support Toon. Nap Time refills the stamina of everyone around him, and he can see which Toons are low on stamina. He also has 5-star stealth.
- Vee is the best scout. Mic Check shows every Twisted on the floor, and Camera Hijack points her to the nearest unfinished Machines.
- Sprout is the team healer. He can heal 1 heart for 100 Tapes and always sees everyone's health.
- Shelly is the extraction support. Inspiration gives one teammate 75% faster extraction for 15 seconds, and she gets 5-star skill checks herself.
- Pebble is a dog with 5-star speed but only 1-star extraction. He barks to draw Twisteds away from the team and sniffs out items.
The seasonal Main Characters, Bobette, Bassie and Gourdy, also have two abilities and two hearts (see the Event Toons section).
Event Toons
Event Toons are bought with currency you can only earn during that holiday event. Their stats and prices are listed below. When an event is not running, you usually cannot earn its currency.
| Toon | Event | Ability | Cost | Other requirements |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bobette | Christmas | Precious Packaging: hides in an invincible gift box. Festive Aura: stamina and speed for nearby Toons | 3,000 Ornaments + 2,500 Ichor | 100% research on Twisted Bobette |
| Coal | Christmas | Scout: outlines every item on the floor for the team | 1,500 Ornaments | Own 15 or more Trinkets |
| Ginger | Christmas | Baked With Care!: heals a nearby Toon to full for 100 Tapes | 700 Ornaments | 50% research on Twisted Ginger |
| Rudie | Christmas | Antler Charge: a quick forward charge | 300 Ornaments | None |
| Bassie | Easter | Springful Sharing: drops items for teammates. Easter Basket: one extra item slot | 3,000 Baskets + 2,500 Ichor | 100% research on Twisted Bassie |
| Cocoa | Easter | Bonbon: drops a treat that boosts extraction and speed | 1,500 Baskets | 100% research on 5 Twisteds |
| Flyte | Easter | Gust: leaves a gust that speeds up anyone who walks in | 700 Baskets | 50% research on Twisted Flyte |
| Eggson | Easter | Fixer Upper: instantly completes 20% of a Machine, once per Machine | 300 Baskets | None |
| Gourdy | Halloween | Trick or Treat: random 20% boost for nearby Toons. Sugar Rush: team speed boost at key moments | 3,000 Pumpkins + 2,500 Ichor | 100% research on Twisted Gourdy |
| Eclipse | Halloween | Full Eclipse: turns into a glowing werewolf during Blackouts | 1,500 Pumpkins | Own 5 or more Toons |
| Soulvester | Halloween | Knightly Armor: 4 hearts and immune to ranged attacks | 700 Pumpkins | 50% research on Twisted Soulvester |
| Ribecca | Halloween | The Undead: immune to all debuffs | 300 Pumpkins | None |
Circus Troupe Toons
Looey, Yatta and Blot form the Circus Troupe, and you unlock them as a chain:
- Finish all of Poppy's mastery quests to unlock Looey (1,000 Ichor).
- Own 15 Toons and get 50% research on Twisted Yatta to unlock Yatta (2,000 Ichor).
- Finish every mastery quest on both Looey and Yatta to unlock Blot (3,000 Ichor).
Blot is worth the grind. His decoy pulls Twisteds off the team, and he has 5-star stamina.

Which Toons to unlock first
This is our recommended order for a new account. It is based on how cheap each Toon is, how easy its requirements are, and how much it helps the team.
- Toodles (350): cheap, and finishing his mastery is a step toward Pebble.
- Tisha (500): no requirements, a team speed pulse, and her mastery leads to Shelly.
- Finn (500): easy unlock and good for running between Machines.
- Cosmo (1,000): a real heal for teammates, and he leads to Sprout.
- Rodger (1,000): double research makes every later unlock faster. Get him early.
- Brightney (1,250): Blackouts get dangerous on deep floors, and she leads to Vee.
After that, save for a Main Character. Shelly or Sprout make the biggest difference in public lobbies, and Astro is the best pick once you can afford him.
Twisteds and research
Every Toon has a Twisted counterpart, a monster version that roams the floors and hunts players. Meeting a Twisted, or opening a Research Capsule, raises your research on it. That research percentage is what most Toon unlocks above ask for, so playing more floors unlocks more Toons. Rodger doubles the research you earn, which is why he is high on our list.
Dandy and Dyle appear in the game, but only developers can play them. Dandy runs the shop between floors, and encountering Twisted Dandy is one of Astro's unlock requirements.

There are 40 playable Toons as of October 2026, including 12 Event Toons. Dandy and Dyle also exist, but only developers can play them.
Who is the best Toon in Dandy's World?
Astro is the strongest support Toon, and Vee, Sprout and Shelly are close behind. For new players, Cosmo and Rodger give the most value for their price.

Play full runs and go deeper, since later floors pay more. Redeem any active codes from our Dandy's World codes page as well.
Can you still get Event Toons after the event ends?
Event Toons cost a seasonal currency, such as Pumpkins or Ornaments, that you can only earn during that event. Save your currency while the event is live.
How do you get research in Dandy's World?
You gain research by meeting a Twisted on a floor and by opening Research Capsules. Rodger earns double research, which speeds this up.
Who should I pick, Boxten or Poppy?
Boxten is better in full lobbies because his extraction speed grows with the number of living Toons. Poppy is easier for beginners because she gets a speed boost when hit.
