Completing card sets is one of the biggest sources of free spins in Coin Master. A single completed set can give you hundreds of spins. A completed album can give you thousands. Here is how the system works and how to complete your sets faster.

How Coin Master Cards Work
Cards drop from chests, which you buy using coins. There are multiple chest tiers (wooden, golden, magical and others) each with different probabilities of dropping rarer cards.
Cards are sorted into themed sets. Completing all cards in a set earns you a reward (spins, coins, pet XP, or a combination). Completing every set in an album gives you a much larger bonus.
Card Rarities
Cards have five rarity levels:
| Rarity | Star rating | How common |
|---|---|---|
| Common | 1 star | Very frequent |
| Uncommon | 2 stars | Frequent |
| Rare | 3 stars | Occasional |
| Very Rare | 4 stars | Infrequent |
| Gold | 5 stars | Extremely rare |
Gold cards are the hardest to find and cannot be traded. They are locked to the set period when they were issued. You can only get them from chests or as event rewards during the time they are available.
How to Trade Cards
Coin Master has a built-in trading feature. To access it, go to the card collection screen, find a card you want to give, and press the Trade button. You can then send a trade request to a Facebook friend who plays Coin Master.
Trading rules:
- You can only trade cards you have duplicates of.
- Gold cards cannot be traded at all.
- You cannot trade 1-star (common) cards. Only 2 stars and above.
- Both players must be Facebook friends in the game.
Where to Find Trading Partners
The official trading channels move fast. Here are the best places:
- Official Coin Master Facebook group: large active community, frequent trade posts.
- Reddit (r/CoinMasterGame): organised trading threads, good for rarer cards.
- Discord servers: dedicated Coin Master servers run trade channels by card rarity.
When posting a trade, always list what you have and what you need. Be specific about the card name and set name to avoid confusion.
Tips for Completing Sets Faster
Open chests during events. Events like Card Boom and Card Blitz temporarily increase the drop rate of rare cards. Save a chest budget and open them during these events rather than spending coins between events.
Focus on one set at a time. Spreading your spending across multiple sets means you rarely complete any of them. Pick the set with the fewest missing cards and target it.
Trade duplicates immediately. Sitting on duplicates does nothing. Post your extras in trading groups as soon as you notice you have them.
Ask for specific cards. Vague requests (“looking for rare cards”) get ignored. Specific requests (“looking for card X from set Y, offering card Z”) get responses.
Do not spend coins on chests between events. The coin cost for chests does not change, but the drop rates are better during Card Boom. Patience pays off significantly here.
Set Completion Rewards
Rewards scale with the rarity of the cards in the set. Sets containing mostly 4-star and 5-star cards give much larger spin and coin bonuses than sets built around 1 and 2 star cards. Always prioritise completing your higher rarity sets when you have the choice.
