Coin Master Events Guide: Every Event Type Explained

Coin Master runs limited-time events around the clock. Knowing which events are worth spending spins on (and which are not) can make a huge difference to how fast you progress. Here is a breakdown of every major event type.

Attack Events

Attack Madness

Attack Madness rewards you with extra coins or spins for landing a set number of attacks during the event window. The milestone rewards stack. Hitting the first milestone pays out, then you keep going for the next.

Best strategy: Use Tiger pet if you have him. Save your attack spins for when this event is running. Do not waste high-multiplier attacks between events.

Village Master (Attack version)

Village Master asks you to complete a certain number of attacks or raids. The final reward is usually a large spin or coin package.

Raid Events

Raid Madness

Similar structure to Attack Madness but triggered by raids instead of attacks. Foxy pet is essential here. She adds extra coins to every raid, which stacks on top of the event multipliers.

Best strategy: If you have a stack of raid spins, hold them until Raid Madness is active. The combined Foxy bonus plus event milestone rewards makes raids much more efficient.

Building Events

Village Master (Village version)

You earn points by spending coins to build structures in your village. Points accumulate and unlock milestone rewards. This event makes it worth building multiple structures in a single session rather than spacing them out.

Best strategy: Save coins rather than building immediately. When Village Master starts, do all your building in one run to hit as many milestones as possible.

Balloon Frenzy

Balloons appear above your village. Spinning gives you a chance to pop one and earn a bonus. No special strategy needed. Just keep spinning as normal and the balloons pay out automatically.

Chest and Card Events

Card Boom

Card Boom temporarily increases the drop rate of rare cards from chests. This is the best time to spend coins on chests if you are trying to complete a card set.

Best strategy: Save a reserve of coins for Card Boom. Opening chests outside of this event is significantly less efficient for rare card hunting.

Card Blitz

Similar to Card Boom. Usually shorter in duration but with a large bonus for completing a specific set during the event window.

Spin and Coin Events

Viking Quest

Viking Quest is a mini-game that runs alongside your normal spins. Landing certain symbols fills a progress bar. Completing it earns a large reward, often millions of coins or a big spin bonus.

No special strategy needed. Viking Quest rewards you for playing normally. Avoid spending real money to speed it up.

Coin Master (Tournament)

A leaderboard event where players compete for the most spins or coins earned in a time window. Reaching certain placement tiers earns bonus rewards.

Best strategy: Only worthwhile if you have a large spin reserve. Otherwise focus on other events with guaranteed milestone rewards instead of competing for leaderboard placement.

Seasonal and Special Events

Coin Master runs themed events around holidays (Christmas, Halloween, Valentine’s Day, etc.) and game anniversaries. These typically combine multiple event types and offer exclusive card sets and cosmetics.

Check the official Coin Master Facebook page or in-game notification bell for announcements about upcoming seasonal events.

General Event Tips

  • Check the timer before spinning. Starting a raid session one hour before an event ends wastes potential milestones.
  • Match your pet to the event. Foxy for raid events, Tiger for attack events.
  • Do not buy spins to finish an event. Unless you are one milestone away from a very large reward, the maths rarely works out in your favour.
  • Stack events when possible. Raid Madness with an active Foxy at a high multiplier is the most efficient combination in the game.
