Last updated: October 2, 2026. Event names and times change every day, so treat the in-game event calendar as the final word. This guide covers what runs this month and how the schedule works.
Monopoly GO runs several events at once, almost every hour of the day. A main event, a daily tournament and a string of short flash events all overlap, and knowing which is which is the difference between burning your dice and multiplying them.
This page covers what is running in October 2026, how the daily rotation works, what each event type does, and how to plan your dice around it. For free rolls to spend on all of this, keep our Monopoly GO dice links page open in another tab.
- October 2026 sits inside the Monster Mash season, which runs from September 23 to November 25, 2026.
- This season brings KPop Demon Hunters and Ghostbusters themed Racers, Partners and Treasures events.
- A main event usually lasts a day or more, a tournament about a day, and flash events only minutes to a few hours.
- Save dice for the moments when a main event, a tournament and a flash boost overlap.
Monopoly GO events running in October 2026
October falls in the Monster Mash season. Scopely announced it on September 22, 2026, and it runs from September 23 to November 25, 2026. Here is what is confirmed for the season:
| What | Details |
|---|---|
| Season | Monster Mash, September 23 to November 25, 2026 |
| Sticker album | Mystery Mansion album, with 25 new sticker sets (Scopely's count) |
| Crossovers | Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters and Sony Pictures' Ghostbusters |
| Crossover events | Racers, Partners and Treasures events for both franchises, plus a KPop Demon Hunters Blocks Boutique |
| New features | Luck-O-Lantern (collect treats on the board to unlock rewards for friends) and Trick-or-Treat (a head-to-head dice duel with friends) |
| Album reward | 15,000 dice, the Frankie token and cash for finishing every set, per GameRant |
Scopely has not published day-by-day dates for each crossover event. They rotate through the season, so a Racers or Partners event you see today may be replaced by the other franchise's version later in the season. Check the event calendar inside the game for the exact countdown.
The album has 30 gold stickers according to GameRant, and gold stickers can only be traded during a Golden Blitz. Our Monopoly GO Golden Blitz guide tracks when those happen.
- Tap the event banner on the left of the board to see the main event and its countdown.
- Tap the tournament banner to see your leaderboard position and time left.
- Flash events show as small timed icons. Open the app at different times of day, because each one only starts once you log in during its window.
How the daily event schedule works
Monopoly GO layers events instead of running them one after another. On a typical day you will see:
- One main event. This is the big banner event with a milestone prize track. You collect its tokens by landing on specific tiles. Main events usually last from one to a few days, then the next one starts.
- One tournament. A leaderboard event where you score points from Bank Heists and Shutdowns (the railroad minigames). Tournaments usually last about a day, and a new one starts as the old one ends.
- Several flash events. Short boosts such as High Roller or Mega Heist. Most last between 10 minutes and a few hours, and the game cycles through several each day.
- Side events. Longer-running extras such as a Partners event, a Racers event, Peg-E Prize Drop or a Treasures dig. These sit on top of everything else.
Start times are not fixed to one hour across the season, so a tournament may start at a different time than the main event. The countdown in each banner is the reliable reference.
Monopoly GO event types explained
Main (solo) events
Your personal milestone event. You land on the event's token tiles (often Tax, Utility, Railroad or Chance tiles, depending on the event) to fill a prize track of dice, cash, sticker packs and a final grand prize. Higher dice multipliers give you more points per landing.
Tournaments
Short competitive events against a bracket of other players. You earn points by completing Bank Heists and Shutdowns, and the top spots win extra rewards such as sticker packs, dice and cosmetic items like shields or emojis. Tournaments are also a common source of tokens for whatever side event is live.
Partners events
A co-op event where you team up with four friends, one partner per attraction slot in the middle of the board. You earn tokens by playing the board and spend them to build attractions with each partner. Partners events usually run for about five days, and leftover tokens are converted to cash when the event ends. In the Monster Mash season, Scopely lists Partners events for both KPop Demon Hunters and Ghostbusters.
Racers
A team event where you collect flags around the board before a race begins, then compete as a team for prizes such as sticker packs and player tokens. This season has KPop Demon Hunters Racers (Seoul and the Underworld) and Ghostbusters Racers.
Treasures
A grid-based event where you uncover hidden collectibles on a board of tiles to win rewards. This season's versions are themed around a HUNTR/X concert and the Ghostbusters firehouse.
Peg-E Prize Drop
A Plinko-style minigame. You collect Peg-E tokens from the board and other events, then drop balls into the machine to fill a milestone track. It is one of the better side sources of free dice when it shows up.
Quick Wins
Not an event in the banner sense, but worth checking daily. Tap the Quick Wins button for three small daily tasks that unlock one after another. Each completed task adds progress to a weekly reward bar with dice, cash and sticker pack prizes.
Flash events
These are the short boosts that run in between everything else. The ones you will see most often:
| Flash event | What it does |
|---|---|
| High Roller | Unlocks much higher dice multipliers than normal for a short window |
| Mega Heist | Boosts Bank Heist payouts with gold bar rewards |
| Rent Frenzy | Adds extra players to your board, so you collect more rent |
| Cash Grab | Adds a Chance card that starts a tap-to-catch-money minigame, multiplied by your current multiplier |
| Lucky Chance | Gives Chance cards better outcomes, including bonus dice |
| Cash Boost | Raises cash rewards for a very short time |
| Wheel Boost | Gives extra Color Wheel spins when you land on your completed property sets |
| Landmark Rush | Rewards you for fully upgrading a landmark during the window |
| Builder's Bash | Discounts building upgrades |
| Free Parking | Lets you collect dice or cash on certain tiles and cash it in on Free Parking |
| Roll Match | Shows two target dice, and rolling a match pays bonus dice |
| Sticker Boom | Adds extra stickers to every sticker pack you open |
| Golden Blitz | Lets you trade two specific gold stickers for about 24 hours |
How to plan your dice for events
Dice are the limiting resource in Monopoly GO, so timing matters more than volume.
- Stack your events. The best time to roll big is when a main event, a tournament and a flash event like High Roller or Mega Heist are all live at once. One roll can then score in all three.
- Raise the multiplier only near targets. Two dice land on 6, 7 or 8 most often. When a token tile or railroad is 6 to 8 spaces away, raise your multiplier. Otherwise drop it back down.
- Stop at the next milestone. Main events pay the most at certain milestones. If you are close to a big dice reward, finish it, then reassess before chasing the next one.
- Hold cash for building boosts. Saving your cash for Builder's Bash, Landmark Rush or Wheel Boost turns the same money into more rewards.
- Open sticker packs during Sticker Boom. If you are sitting on packs you can open later, wait for Sticker Boom to get extra stickers from them.
- Collect every free source. Claim the shop's free gift, finish Quick Wins and grab our daily dice links before a big event window.
Ignore any site that offers "unlimited dice" in exchange for a login, a download or a survey. Those are scams. The only free dice come from official links and normal play.
