Marvel Rivals does have real crosshair codes. On PC, the reticle menu has an Import Save button that takes a long string of numbers and applies every reticle setting in one go, and an Export Save button that copies your current reticle as a code you can share. On PS5 and Xbox there is no import box, so the settings tables under each code show the exact values to enter by hand.
Quick pick: which code to use
| Crosshair | Type | Best for | Example heroes |
|---|---|---|---|
| White Dot | Dot | Hitscan, long range | Hela, Hawkeye, Black Widow |
| Green Dot | Dot | Hitscan on bright maps | The Punisher, Winter Soldier |
| Green Cross | Crosshairs | Most heroes, all-round | Star-Lord, Luna Snow |
| The Professional | Crosshairs | Tracking in fast fights | Spider-Man, Psylocke |
| Necros-style Cross | Crosshairs | Hitscan, high contrast | Hela, Black Widow |
| Yellow Circle | Circle | Melee and close range | Magik, Wolverine, Iron Fist |
| Red Circle | Circle | Projectile heroes | Storm, Iron Man, Invisible Woman |
Copy each code exactly as shown, from the first digit through the final number. A code that loses even one character will not import.
Dot crosshairs
White Dot
A small, clean dot with nothing around it. Listed by Sportskeeda as "Plain White Dot (Small)" and by The Backdash as "White Dot Center".

The same dot at a smaller width, in green or red. Green stands out on most arenas. Red is a good fallback on maps with a lot of green. Both appear on Sportskeeda and The Backdash, and Gfinity lists the green one too.

They are read from the code itself, so nudge a slider if the result looks slightly off.

Cross crosshairs
Green and Yellow Cross
A compact plus sign with a small gap in the middle, so the target's head stays visible. Sportskeeda calls these "Cross-sectional Crosshair (Small)", and The Backdash lists them as Green X Center and Yellow X Center. Despite the X name, the angle is 0, so it sits upright like a plus.

A thinner, tighter cross with a tiny gap. Good when you track a target that moves a lot, because the lines barely cover the model. Listed under this name by Dexerto and Gfinity.

A thick-outlined green cross with a very small gap. esportsNow and All Things How both list it as Necros's crosshair, and Gfinity carries near-identical values. Necros is a pro player; treat this as the community's copy of his setup, not a code he published.

Circle crosshairs
Yellow and Red Circle
A ring with a soft edge and no centre dot. It shows roughly where a melee swing or a slow projectile will land without hiding the enemy. Gfinity and esportsNow list the yellow version as a melee crosshair. Sportskeeda and The Backdash list the slightly smaller red version.

How to import a crosshair code (PC)
- Open Settings from the main menu or in a match.
- Pick the Keyboard tab if you play on mouse and keyboard, or Controller if you use a pad on PC. Each tab keeps its own reticle.
- Open the Combat section and scroll to HUD.
- Check the hero filter at the top left. Leave it on All Heroes to change everyone, or pick one hero.
- Next to Reticle Save, click Import Save, paste the code and confirm.
- To share your own reticle, click Export Save. The game copies your current code to the clipboard.
Save slots are limited, so delete an old save if the game will not take a new one.
Setting a crosshair per hero
The hero filter is what makes Marvel Rivals crosshairs useful. The menu defaults to All Heroes. Click it, pick a hero, and any reticle change you make from then on applies to that hero only.
A sensible setup for most players:
- All Heroes: the Green Cross or The Professional as your baseline.
- Hitscan heroes (Hela, Hawkeye, Black Widow, The Punisher, Winter Soldier): a dot.
- Projectile heroes (Storm, Iron Man, Invisible Woman, Rocket Raccoon): the Red Circle, so you see a rough impact area while you lead your shots.
- Melee and dive heroes (Magik, Wolverine, Iron Fist, Black Panther, Psylocke): the Yellow Circle, which shows how close you need to be.
Support players should also open the hero-specific settings for their healers and turn on Healing Reticle Feedback. It flashes a marker when a heal lands, like a hitmarker for healing. Dexerto notes it lives in each hero's own settings, not in the main reticle menu.
What each reticle setting does
| Setting | What it changes | Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Reticle Type | Default, Circle, Crosshairs, Dot, or Circle and Crosshairs | Circle and Crosshairs unlocks all three parts at once |
| Reticle Animation | Turns the reticle animation on or off | Every code on this page leaves it off |
| Width | Thickness of the dot, lines or ring | Thin lines hide less of the target |
| Opacity | How solid each part is | Set a part to 0 to hide it without changing type |
| Outline Width and Opacity | Dark border around each part | Raise it on bright, busy maps |
| Blur | Softens the edges | Keep it at 0 for dots and crosses |
| Crosshair Radius | The gap between the centre and the lines | A small gap keeps heads visible |
| Circle Radius | Size of the ring | Bigger for melee, smaller for projectiles |
| Crosshair Length | How long each line is | Short lines suit fast tracking |
| Crosshair Angle | Rotates the lines | 45 turns a plus into an X |
| Color | Colour of each part | Pick a colour the maps rarely use, like green or cyan |
How to read a crosshair code
NetEase does not publish the code format, but matching codes against their in-game settings shows a fixed order. The first number is the reticle type (1 Circle, 2 Crosshairs, 3 Dot, 4 Circle and Crosshairs) and the second turns Reticle Animation off (0) or on (1). Most groups after that hold four values, and the last three of each group are the crosshair, the circle and the dot, in that order. The near-last group picks a preset colour (0 white, 1 red, 2 yellow, 3 green, 4 blue), and the final three numbers appear to hold a custom colour. That is how the console tables above were built, so treat them as a close starting point, and it lets you tweak a code by hand before importing it.
Crosshair not showing or keeps resetting?
- Wrong hero filter. A hero-specific reticle overrides All Heroes. Pick that hero in the filter and change or reset its reticle.
- Wrong input tab. Keyboard and Controller have separate reticles. If you switched input, set the other tab too.
- A part is set to 0. If Width or Opacity is 0 for the only part your Reticle Type shows, the crosshair is invisible. Raise it, or change Reticle Type.
- Code did not import. It was cut short while copying. Copy it again from the first digit to the last semicolon, and free a save slot if they are full.
- Settings changed after an update. Export your reticle with Export Save and keep the code in a note. If a patch or a new device resets it, import it back in seconds.

FAQs
Are there crosshair codes in Marvel Rivals?
Yes. On PC, the HUD section of the Combat settings has Import Save and Export Save buttons next to Reticle Save. A code is a string of numbers that holds every reticle setting, so pasting one gives you that exact crosshair.
Can you import crosshair codes on PS5 or Xbox?
No. As of October 2026, importing a code works on PC only. Console players set the same values by hand in the HUD reticle menu, using the settings tables on this page.
How do I change my crosshair in Marvel Rivals?
Open Settings, choose the Keyboard or Controller tab, go to Combat, then HUD. Change Reticle Type and the sliders there. Use the hero filter at the top left to change one hero instead of all of them.
What is the best crosshair in Marvel Rivals?
For hitscan heroes, a small dot or a tight cross with a small gap. For melee and projectile heroes, a circle that shows your rough hit area. Start with the Green Cross for every hero, then set a dot or circle per hero.
Why did my Marvel Rivals crosshair disappear?
Usually a hero-specific setting is overriding All Heroes, or a Width or Opacity slider is at 0 for the part your Reticle Type shows. Check the hero filter, then raise the slider.
Can I see a pro player's crosshair in Marvel Rivals?
When you spectate a match, the game shows the player's crosshair settings on screen. Shared "pro" codes online are usually community copies, so check them in the Practice Range before trusting them.
