Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mystery Gift Codes (October 2026)

Pokémon Legends Z-A Mystery Gift codes

Pokémon Legends: Z-A hands out free items and Pokémon through Mystery Gift. Some gifts need a code, others arrive with a simple internet connection, and one is claimed in Pokémon HOME. Here is everything you can still claim and what has already gone.

Active Pokémon Legends: Z-A codes

CodeRewardExpires
PREPAR1NG5 Max Revives, 10 Full Restores, 10 Ultra BallsMarch 31, 2027

PREPAR1NG uses the number one, not a capital I. It first appeared in a Nintendo newsletter in Japan and works on every region's copy of the game. Each code can be claimed once per save file.

Internet gifts you can claim now

Choose Get via Internet in Mystery Gift to claim these without a code:

  • Garchompite Z (Mega Garchomp Z): available since February 27, 2026, with no end date announced. Requires the Mega Dimension DLC and one completed hyperspace adventure. The game shows "Special distortion detected!" when it arrives. One per save file.
  • Mewtwonite X and Mewtwonite Y: become claimable after the credits, as part of the post-game Project M missions.
  • Diancie and Diancite: a post-game internet gift with no announced end date.

Pokémon HOME gift: alpha starters

Move any Pokémon from Pokémon Legends: Z-A into Pokémon HOME on Switch, then open HOME's mobile app and claim an alpha Chikorita, Tepig and Totodile from its Mystery Gift menu. This has been live since April 2, 2026, with no end date announced. The gift is claimed in HOME, not inside Z-A.

Event gifts

  • Birthday Audino (Lv. 5, Cherish Ball): a single-use code handed out at Pokémon Center stores in Japan, Taiwan and Singapore. Codes can be redeemed until October 31, 2026. There is no public code for it.

How to redeem Pokémon Legends: Z-A codes

  1. Play until Main Mission 3 and talk to Mable. This unlocks Link Play and Mystery Gift.
  2. Press X to open the Main Menu and select Link Play.
  3. Choose Mystery Gift.
  4. Pick Get with Code/Password and type the code, or Get via Internet for free gifts.
  5. Collect Pokémon and items from the delivery person at any Pokémon Center.

Why a code is not working

  • Already claimed: every code and internet gift works once per save file.
  • Expired: check the dates in the tables above.
  • Typo: codes mix numbers and letters. Watch 0 versus O and 1 versus I.
  • Mystery Gift not unlocked: finish Main Mission 3 first.
  • No connection: your Switch must be online with a Nintendo Account linked to the user profile.
  • Missing DLC: Garchompite Z only appears if you own Mega Dimension.

Updating the game to the latest version also rules out problems with newer gifts.
