Pokémon GO offer codes unlock free items: avatar clothing, Poké Balls, berries, or a Timed Research quest with a special Pokémon encounter. They come from brand partnerships, anime broadcasts, livestreams, and community milestones, and most only last a few days or weeks. You redeem every one of them on the official Pokémon GO Web Store, not inside the app.

Active Pokémon GO offer codes

The adidas code is part of the Pokémon x adidas collection launch, which runs from September 25, 2026 to January 15, 2027. Visiting a participating adidas store with the game open also gives event Timed Research with an adidas jacket and cap, a Lucario encounter, and Mega Energy, but that research comes from the location, not from a code.

Older codes with no current end date

These two codes come from promotions that have ended. Several trackers report that they still redeem, so they are worth a try, but they can stop at any time without notice.

If you already own an avatar item from a code, redeeming it again does nothing. Item codes like the berry code work once per account.

Upcoming codes and code-based rewards

• Pokémon Night Out (October 24, 2026): the official Pokémon Twitch channel streams from 7:30 p.m. PDT. Connect your Pokémon Trainer Central account to Twitch and watch for 30 minutes to earn a Drop. The Drop is a personal code you collect from your rewards inventory on rewards.pokemon.com and redeem on the Web Store. It unlocks Timed Research with a Pokémon Night Out baseball jersey avatar item. Each account can claim it once.
• Gengar Knit Cap (September 27 to October 31, 2026): redeem a Pokémon GO gift card bought at Target, GameStop, or Best Buy in that window and you get a Gengar Knit Cap avatar item on top of the card value. This is a gift card bonus, not a shared code.

Expired Pokémon GO codes

A code past its end date usually returns an error on the Web Store. Once a code stops redeeming, there is no other way to get its reward.

How to redeem Pokémon GO codes

1. Open the Pokémon GO Web Store offer redemption page in any browser, on your phone or a computer.
2. Sign in with the same login you use in the game (Google, Apple, or another linked provider). A different login opens a different account, and the reward goes there.
3. Type or paste the code exactly and select Redeem.
4. You get a confirmation listing the items. Open Pokémon GO: items go to your bag, avatar items to the Style shop, and Timed Research to the Today view.

Can you redeem codes in the app on Android or iPhone?

No. iOS never had an in-app code box. Android had one in the Shop until February 13, 2024, when the official Pokémon GO team moved all offer code redemption to the Web Store. Guides that still tell you to scroll to the bottom of the Shop are out of date.

If you play with a Pokémon Trainer Club account only, the official notice from that change says to link your game account to another login provider in the game's settings first, then use that login on the Web Store.

Kids accounts cannot redeem sponsored offer codes by default. A parent has to allow sponsored content in the account settings first.

Offer codes vs Web Store promo codes

The Web Store uses two kinds of codes, and they are easy to mix up:

The support page for the Web Store says monthly promo codes need a total Web Store purchase of US$9.99 or more. Every code on this page is an offer code.

Why a Pokémon GO code does not work

Timed Research from a code also has its own deadline to finish the tasks, which can be later than the redemption deadline. If the research disappears from the Today view, that deadline has passed.

Where new Pokémon GO codes come from

• Brand partnerships: adidas, MLB, and FENDI codes were announced in news posts on pokemongo.com with a fixed end date. The LEGO codes spread through the collaboration itself.
• Anime and TV broadcasts: 0004POKEMONGO was shown during a Pokémon Horizons episode in Japan and lasted four days.
• Pokémon Presents and livestreams: GOTOURKALOS was shared during a Pokémon Presents broadcast. The Pokémon World Championships stream gave out the SANFRANCISCO2026 shirt code.
• Twitch Drops: personal, single-use codes for watching official streams. These are tied to your Twitch account and cannot be shared.
• Community milestones: GO Fest check-in and RSVP goals unlock global codes, often valid for only a few days.
• Retail and subscription promos: Amazon Prime Gaming, mobile carriers, and gift card bonuses hand out unique codes. These work once per person, so a public list of them is useless.
